My small still life’s feature dead bugs found mostly around my mothers home in Louisiana. I usually use them intact however when necessary I carefully take them apart, rearrange their legs, and glue them back together. I make and hand paint bottles, cans, wall paintings, and food. I also find doll furniture to complete these domestic environments.

One of my thoughts that inspires this project is what would happen if all of a sudden insects became able to do all the things we as humans do. Would they do greater things than us? Would they build beautiful buildings, help one another, or would they end up just sitting around eating potato chips and exploring life on social media.
